Brief Description of Research Interest:

I'm a human immunologist interested in understanding the complexity of cell-cell communication using mathematical modeling to address system's level question in different types of diseases : cancer, allergy and inflammatory disorders/auto-immunity
My primary expertise is cellular biology of human dendritic cells, including dendritic cell subsets and response to exogeneous and endogeneous stimulation, I have deeply studied how different type of dendritic cells would induce the differentiation of distinct effector subsets of CD4 T cells, namely Th1, Th2, Th17 and Treg
I applied knowledge from this primary expertise to the study of various diseases using ex-vivo tissues or in-vitro models (patient derived organoids) such as Atopic dermatitis, Auto-immune disorders, Cancers (Breast, Ovarian, Head and Neck, Colorectal) integrating large scale datasets such as transcriptomic and genomics but also large scale perturbative screens in co-culture models in order to discover novel communication mechanisms and to question the mode of action of drugs, their specificity and potential interactions
