Brief Description of Research Interest:

My research focuses on the role of TET1, a major demethylase, in the early mouse embryonic development. I am interested in dissecting the physiological role of TET1 in embryonic and extra-embryonic mouse embryos and the mechanisms by which TET1 regulate cell fate choices during exit from pluripotency. I aim to understand the interplay between the catalytic and non-catalytic activities of TET1.
